Just purchased this one off ebay and am trying to identify it.

The insides have been totally rebuilt but the outside needs some TLC. Gives me something to work on. LOL

Don't worry the first thing I did when I got it home was paint those hubcaps. Most of the pics are from the ebay ad except the one with me in it.

Welcome Natchezfd from Mississippi

Now that is CUTE!

Reminds me of the one my parents used to have back in the early 70's. Don't have a clue as to what it is.

But I'll bet those newly painted RED hubcaps makes it go much faster!!!

Are those just light panels near the top front?

LOL they were actually orange but the photo makes 'em look red. Yea the inside had previously been gutted and redone well. Lotta storage, fridge, stove, microwave, ac and new toilet. Looks great inside.

The panels on the top front side are one pane jalousie windows.

The trailer does have a number stamped into the tongue but I have searched all over for some other tag or markings and can't find a thing. Looked at hundreds of sites like this and although found a lot similar nothing has that squared off back end this one does. Closest thing I have seen is a Trailblazer, same floorplan but with the rework inside I don't think this thing has the original floorplan.

Plans are to paint it white then put some red fire pumper type stripes down the side. After that may end up with red hubcaps again. LOL

Welcome to the forum. I wish I had the time and space to take on a project like that. I have no idea what make and model it is. The squared off back end reminds me of a toy hauler. Be sure to keep us updated on your progress.....

Welcome, and best of luck with the project. Tandem wheels on a short trailer tell me that it must be a pretty heavy duty frame and suspension. That's probably why it has survived this long. Hope you can identify it.

Yea the tandem is what sold me. Rock solid underneath and pulled like a dream. I did check the bearings when I got home and one wheel had a bit of play so replaced bearings and seal in it.

Rather than overload this site with pics...

:qqb009:Actually, we love being overloaded! We kind of agreed a while back that it would be great to see a couple of pics in your post above the link to the album site. It makes it a little more interesting. Thanks.

Wow, that's a great layout, looks a lot more roomy on the inside than it looks like it has on the outside.

Wow, really love that wood paneling. Right out of the 60's, early 70's. Fantastic!

Not really sure how long it was before I realized there were animals and trees in my paneling. LOL.

Very cozy inside. The outside calls for HGTV's, "Curb Appeal," team. They might go with some crazy 60's Hippie theme or a Cabela's style hunting cabin with camoflague paint and deer antlers out front, a jackalope, or......

Long story short version!!!!

(Last week) Call into my insurance agent to try to get a title bond and after lots of calls was advised to register as a homemade if Make can not be determined. There are some numbers but they are stamped into the coupler and not the frame.

I went to the county courthouse today to register as a homemade. Woulda had a tag until I said "Camper" Very nice lady (for a change) working for the county calls the state and says I will have to go somewhere and get a vin plate. OH GOODNESS. LOL

Well I had decided that NOTHING but getting this camper tagged was on my agenda today. So went back home and started sanding and scraping looking for anything to tell me the make of this camper. Raised the fiberglass cover to look around the window again and noticed the sunshine through the fiberglass. Hmmm that looks like a letter. On closer inspection I was able to see where there USED to be some letters probably painted on. Trail... what's that next letter? Trai___zer. Oh my it IS a TRAILBLAZER. ANother call to the insurance and after she made several more calls. Calls me back and says she has my title bond ready and that'll be 50 bucks.

Getting the title bond tomorrow first thing and then another trip to the courthouse. To be continued .....

Well, went to the County Courthouse Tuesday and after a couple of trips across the hall for notarizing forms. I walked out with a license tag and also a title APPLICATION for a 1967 Trailblazer. Best part was when they asked me the "Model" I told 'em "Vintage". Says so on the title application now. Anyway (hopefully) in 6 to 8 weeks I'll have a title.

Hey! I recognize that trailer. I just saw it over in Jackson, MS a few weeks ago.

The owner of it looks strangely like one of my geocaching buddies. http://www.rvpics.com/forumx/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/http://www.rvpics.com/forums/aktion069.gif

What you have there is a GENUINE "RedNeck Rambler".

It is marketed to MS folks and appeals especially to Smoke Eaters.

LOL

I really LIKE that little dude.

Would make a dandy Deer camp trailer too.

I think the hubcaps should remain/be RED.

Gives it that "Fire Truck" feel.

LOL

I'm a Captain/Engineer with our Town's Volunteer Dept..

Here's the truck I got us with a grant.......

(since they LOVE pictures) LOL

It's what I drive when I'm not drivin my pickup or riding my motorcycle.

I'm sure our paths did cross if ya rode a rig here in Natchez. I recently retired from the NFD as a Batt Chief and now serve as Adams County's EMA Director and County Fire Coordinator. Wow outta the skillet and into the fire. LOL

Yup may have to go back and paint those red again. My prob now is getting time to use my "Travel Bug".

That is the same type of paneling I have in my exercise room. It can't be all bad. The inside looks great. A little, maybe more, elbow grease and you have a winner. Keep us posted.
