Default Ramona Canyon RV Park, Ramona CA

This is a membership park located on Hwy 78, 5 miles in the canyons above the city of Ramona. The park honors WHR, ROD, AOR and other memberships. The park offers 30/50 amp service, paved interior roads and dirt campsites. Beautiful pool, spa, clubhouse, horseshoes and the other amenities offered by most parks. The interior roads are in need of repair and barely large enough for bigger rigs in some areas and tree branches scrape your roof as you move around in this terraced park. No cellphone service in this area and the free wifi that is offered is only available at the upper clubhouse and it is marginal in strength. Park offers a 3 night stay for $29 which requires a tour and sales pitch. This can be a great park with new wider roads, removing obstacles and trimming trees.

Too bad about it being a membership park. Looks like it has potential.

When we were members of WHR this was our home park. We took the membership pitch in Palm Springs. We toured Ramona once to check it out, but there was nothing there which attracted us to return. It was quiet and very peaceful, although as mentioned very remote. The kind of place which will appeal to some but not others.

Agree on the nice ammenities. Also concur that the roads and site access could be better. I've stayed in worse for more per night though!
