Thanks Bill. This lake is fed entirely from runoff. And the runoff has been nice to us. Our most recent rain actually floated away one of my launching logs. I had to reposition them a bit. We do have another lake in the area that is spring fed, and it has not been so quick to recover. Though with the last rain, I wonder how it is doing.

Thats wonderful that the lake is coming back, hopefully the rain will remain all though spring and summer. Great picture of the fish.

With all the rain we had the last month or so still a long way to breaking the draught. These are photos of Lake Travis above Austin, Tx. They were taken 2-6-12 by my son with his cell phone. I have never seen Lake Travis this low.

Going to need a lot of rain for the lake to have water to these boat ramps

Wow...that's pretty dramatic Bill. I know we've been extremely lucky getting the rain we have. And while they have been getting it out in the Hill Country, it's not to the degree we have. And they were worse off to begin with. They were in drought mode a year before we started going. I hope they start to get some of the rain.

Most of our lakes in central Texas are extremely low. We do, tho, have a couple of constant level lakes along the Colorado in the Austin area,,,,,,seems to be a connection between money and which lakes are constant level.
