I fell prey to dealer advertising. Well, and I ended up talking them down to a deal I could live with also. Anyway, I ended up with a brand new 2011 F-250, with the new 6.7L diesel. I gave up a few amenities I had in the Lariat, but I got most of what I wanted still. And I can add what I want, except for the Dual Zone Climate Control. I'm gonna miss that. Anyway, here's a few pictures of the new toy.

Good point. I'll probably update it later when I get a good pic at a campsite, but for now #2 above will do.

Yeah, that took a almost as much talking to as the dealer. But she did like the warranty stuff on the new truck, and she got rid of the leather that she didn't really care for anyway. And since in the end, we are paying very little more (per month) than we were on the other truck, it made it easier to digest. She really does like it.

 NO LEATHER??? EEEK! What kind of guy buys a truck with no leather? Well, I hope they at least left room for the 2-meter rig. But don't let it get around that you don't have leather...

Studying like crazy for my Extra. Happy T-Day.

Yeah, I never cared at all for leather interiors. To me, it is the most uncomfortable upholstery there is. That being said, my new Caddie has leather. That's its only downfall.

I do not like leather, it will burn your butt when it gets hot here in central Florida, Now I like the looks of that truck.....I just cannot believe what they want for new trucks these days....especially diesels......

Beautiful, Ed. Paint it white and it's just like the one I got last month. I can't wait to hit the Rockies with mine. Where you going on your next big trip?

Well, we have nothing planned at the moment. Nothing before my youngest brother's wedding in Austin anyway. I think my first tow with it will probably be up to the Flying J to get it all weighed. Of course that's only a few miles away, so I'll probably take the long way. But we'll see. Since I don't winterize mine, I can take off anytime.
