I am slowly geting things back in place after my computer crashed. These are some photos of the Wright Museum in Wolfeboro New Hamshire its a World War 2 museum that covers the home front as well as military exhibits. The photos arn't too good but don't miss this museum if you are any where near Wolfeboro. There web site is www.wrightmuseum.org They have a time tunnel that links the Home Front to the Military exhibits that covers 1939 to 1945. They have a lot of tanks half tracks etz that are in running comdition and if you are there on Family Day you can get two vehicle rides an a BBQ Lunch for the price of admission. The 2011 Family Day was July 10th and it was close to 1st Oct when we were there O well maybe next time.

The first two photos are of prices etz in 1939 & 1945 they have posters of all the war years these are only for the 1st and last

If you find your self in northern Vt on I 91 don't miss the Glover exit and the General Store there. On second thought its worth planing a trip here the next time you are in Vermont . Plan on a few hours to look around and take photos. And buy something this store is better than most museums.

Another interesting place to visit this one is on the USA & Canadaian border and I mean on the border. At Derby Line, Vermont The Haskell Free Library and Opera House the US and Canadaian border runs through the middle of this building.

The main entrance is in the USA

To the left of the black line is USA notice the seats have no cushions. they are extry unless you are in the Balcony

If you want seat cushions they will cost you 50 cents each

The bolcony is in USA and stage in Canada

Kind of looks like graffiti on the hall wall in the Opera House but its not. They have all who performed in the Opera over the years sign the wall

That is pretty neat, so do you have to show a passport everytime you cross the border? Like the house that has it's backyard in Canada.

If it's like it used to be,,,,,,the international law dictates that you can't just cross into the other country, but the local law folks don't worry too much about the locals that they know. But if you're a stranger or suspicious,,,,they'll spring into action.

There is a US custom and Canadaian custom just down the road about a block each way from The Haskell Free Library & Opera House that you are supposed to stop at if you have just came from Canada or the US but you can drive throught that part of town on eather side of the border so its mostly just if you want to stop.
They do watch more than you think as one day when we were there both US and Canadaian customs officers were there where the house was in the US and the their backyard is in Canada. Wanted to take pictures of them but decided not to press my luck

Good thing you didn't, you might have to go to jail and see the judge. Sowhere's the jailand who's judgw do you see. Do you have to to see the judges in both countries? I always wodered what people did when they live in a town that is in two countries.

According to which side of the border you are on when you got afoul of the law would determine which Judge you would see. The Town on the US side is Derby Line, Vetmont don't know what the name of the town in Quebec is maybe Derby Line Quebec??
